After reading The Beautiful Fall several years back and now with the current expo on YSL, it is worth noting these two stylish women. Catroux, was the daughter of an ambassador, a model and a mom. She was a close companion of YSL . Falaise was the daughter of a count, a model and also a mom. She too was a close companion of YSL but was more engaged in the art of design. Falaise encouraged the development of YSL's Le Smoking and transparent blouses.
